An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Transportation & Streetcare section and we are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and ambitious individuals with the drive and desire to succeed and continue to shape the future of transport
in Reading, including the delivery of a programme of major transport schemes. In these strategic roles within Transportation & Streetcare, you will work closely with the Management Team to ensure all elements of the Council's Local Transport Plan are delivered.
The successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate the following skills:
* Ability to work collaboratively and think strategically to promote and present innovative transport planning solutions and future strategies.
* Ability to support the team on the delivery of major transport schemes working within a recognised project management framework.
* Have an awareness/good understanding of transport policy and recent developments in the transport planning sector.
